E5000 and battery pack - first impressions

I recently purchased a Jackery E5000 plus and one of the battery packs to power my family’s off-grid cottage.

Powering seemed to be great and provided well for our needs to replace a gas powered generator. We can achieve 2 to 3 days before needing to recharge. We enjoy the quiet operation and that it can be used inside so one does not need to go outside for tending to the gas powered generator.

Disappointment occurred when first needing to charge the unit (which occurs via the gas generator). I was expecting to utilize the by-pass charging of the unit (where, to be best of my knowledge, the charging and AC plugs can be used simultaneously), but instead the system responded with F6 fault code. The system was able to recover but charging and AC usage can only be independently executed, which is disappointing.

I have inquired with [****] but have not received any response within two days. Hopefully, a resolution can be provided.
