Jackery HomePower 3000

I purchased both the Jackery 1000 and the Jackery 3000 with the associated panels. The Jackery 1000 batteries both charge to 100%. There seems to be a problem with the Jackery 3000 battery as it won't charge beyond 83% and shows zero input when connected to the solar panels.

Tested and happy with the output from the two solar panels 240W@ peak charging it to 98% before bringing the system back inside. Should serve me well during our inevitable power outages….

Like everyone most likely says "should have bought the bigger one" But for the most part it is perfect, great for weekend warrior camping. 2-3 nights would be the max. I sooner should have bought it with the solar bundle which might get me a couple more days. But seems to be a good product. It would be nice if it came with a longer charge chord. (first world problem though)

I have the Jackery 3000 and just love it used it this past weekend and it out performed my expectations and have friends buying some this week

Good unit it is a little heavy but it sure packs slot of power also it is really high tech accurate read outs

Although there was some confusion regarding the shipping in this order, I have to thank the customer service dept, especially Elena, who was very helpful in communicating with me throughout the process and ensuring the unit eventually got to me. Late, but it all worked out in the end. I'm very satisfied with my Home Power 3000 Jackery. I was fairly compensated for the troubles I had.

Ready for power cut!

We had a power outage the other day and we got to use the unit i/we were impressed... the unit is sitting at around 65% charge .... should a person charge it back up to 100% ? I /we would recommend this product to other people

I haven’t been able to use it much as yet. I had a fan plugged in through the night and it only used 1 % of the power. I plan to use this with my RV this summer in a seasonal site with a Florida room to power an extra fridge from time to time.

I really like the product, it worked well for my application. I wish there was a longer cord from the solar panels to unit as the spot that gets the most sun is a bit farther than the cord supplied.

Jackery staff stayed with me until I was happy with the item. Delivery was an issue but that is not the fault of the Jackery staff. Would highly recommend

This was my second Jackery purchase.  I was very happy with my first, a Jackery 1000 bought a few years ago, but certainly not with my second, the HomePower3000.  From the first time we charged it up, we knew that it was not working correctly.  I was in an ongoing dispute with Customer Support for two months as a result.  Their online marketing chatbot misrepresented their product in my purchase decision and then their customer support reps kept me going in circles, not giving me the same answer twice, and I have the 25 plus pages of emails to prove it.

The issue from the start was that the batteries on the HomePower3000 were only lasting about one third to one half the time that they should be.  When I contacted Jackery support, they first said my unit was working normally.  Later, after proving my point with data, they finally agreed it was defective.  I even had a certified electrician check out the plug we were charging the unit with after they suggested the problem was with my power.  It took several weeks to receive the replacement unit.  

While better than the first, the replacement unit is also not working as advertised.  Firstly, the first 50% of battery life will last for 27 hours, but then the battery goes from 50% to 0% in only 4 hours, all with the output draw remaining a consistent 25 watts.  

Secondly, the app will not let you choose to work the Battery Settings mode and the Charging Plan mode at the same time.  

Lastly, even when you have it charge only during off peak hours to take advantage of cheaper electricy rates, the unit still draws some phantom power to run the plugged in devices.  For example, when the unit was plugged into the wall and showed 0 watts input, the battery level never decreased for the entire time it was drawing 25 watts output for more than 20 hours.  It is only when the unit is completely disconnected from the wall plug will it draw power from the battery.  So in order to have it operate as an instant UPS backup for the WiFi but only change during certain hours, I must operate the unit on a separate smart plug that runs on the same schedule as the Changing Plan work mode in the Jackery app.    

Bottom line is I still believe Jackery makes some good products, but the HomePower3000 is not one of them.  I also would not recommend buying from Jackery directly because based on my experience, their customer service cannot be trusted and is quite literally a nightmare.  If you do decide to make a purchase, I would recommend buying from a reputable dealer instead, as that way, if something does go wrong, at least you have another party to advocate on your behalf.

Love the most unit. Works better than expected.

Jackery HomePower 3000

I’m 66 yrs old and I find moving around my 61lb battery by hand difficult. I wish in hindsight that I got a battery with wheels and a handle. I just bought a luggage upright cart to move this around. I don’t have it yet but I ordered one with “big” wheels to move on rough surfaces. You should sell carts made for your batteries (the sizes moved around houses or used outdoors)

This is my 3rd Jackery!
I bought the HomePower 3000 for two reasons.

The first was a home backup in case of winter power outages. It doesn’t happen too often where I live but I’d rather play it safe. It can run the furnace fan to keep the house just warm enough so the pipes don’t freeze (and yes, it has enough power for my older furnace.)

I’ll also be using it during camping and festival season. The summer nighttime temps here in Canada can get down into the single digits, especially in early summer, so using it to power an electric blanket is all the difference between a good or bad sleep.
It also helps with powering the needs of our campsite like speakers, electric skillets, coffee makers, phones, etc.
My other 2 Jackery power stations (a small 240 & much bigger 2000 v2) have been used multiple times and along with my solar panels, I haven’t run out of power yet.

Adding this new HomePower 3000 just gives me more security for power my needs, whether it’s outdoors or here at home.

Jackery HomePower 3000

This thing is a monster...in a great way.
I haven't had to use this in an emergency situation but I did simulate one by unplugging everything I wouldn't have if the electricity goes out and then plugging them into this.
I plugged in my 1/2hp sump pump, 75"LED T.V., cable box, and a fan and this ran 20 hours. It has a very intuitive Wi-Fi app and very user friendly.
I did not get the solar panels so I don't know anything about that but I do know I like this power station. It's a great piece of mind in an emergency.

Powers anything and everything and easy to watch how much power is being used at any given time. Perfect for a power outage and powers the entire RV with no issues.

I had a Schumacher jump box with an a/c outlet and it gave about 3 hours with a full charge and ran down to zero. After 3 hours the Jackery was still at 98% charge. This is a game changer for being a vender at craft shows and needing electric for my scroll saw. I highly recomend it. 👍

This is my second purchase. I already own a 2000 which I am very happy with.
Before buying the 3000, I asked a question on the website and got a quick and clear response.
The purchase went smoothly and the Jackery arrived at my home around 24 hours later.
I'm very happy with everything about it.
