    • A:  Please note that the AC output port can only charge/power devices that operate at less than 500-Watt. Once exceeding, the Explorer 500 will shut off automatically. Please refer to your device specification before purchase.

    • A:  Working time = 500Wh* 0.85 / operating power of your device.
      For reference, assuming power consumption of your device is 60W (might be a box fan), working time will be 500Wh*0.85/60w=7hrs (rough calculated) .
      Please note: actual power consumption varies from different usages, please consult Jackery for better purchase decision.

    Good, but not what I was looking for.

    Overall, this seems to be a well-made and reliable product. However, my main need was for a power station that could periodically supply low amounts of power through a timer (about 2–3 hours a day). Unfortunately, this unit automatically shuts off when there is little or no power draw, which means that when the timer switches on, the power station is already off and cannot deliver power. This limitation makes it less suitable for low-draw devices or intermittent use. Because of this, I wasn’t able to give it a full five stars, even though it seems to work well for continuous or higher-power applications.

    Love the machine

    I have been very impressed with the Jackery I received a few weeks ago. I use it to power a fountain pump in the garden but know it will be available as emergency backup in case of a power outage for other appliances in the house.
