Not only for camping but provide power when needed. Best for house and homes. I would recommend for backup and recommend for everyone.
I'm sure that I will love my purchase and that it will be a great addition to my home system. Unfortunately I have not received it as of yet. It is being delayed due to weight, no two delivery drivers being available and it cannot be dropped at the purolator office in my home town because they don't accept dangerous goods. I cannot pick up myself due to my severe disability. But I'm sure that I will enjoy and appreciate it if it is ever delivered.
Prompt follow-up with answers to all inquiries - before and following purchase. Excellent service.
Last winter we had a 3 day power outage. I swore this winter that I will have back up power should it happen again.
I have been researching solar generators for months. Decided to take the plunge when the Black Friday deals came along.
It was super easy to charge up. So quiet....I am impressed. I havent had a power outage yet but did try it out to boil my kettle. Worked like a dream.
I feel so much better knowing I have Jackery to fall back on. Thankyou Jackery
I had the E550 before this one and it’s almost double in capacity for less weight.
The new features are very handy. Faster charging rate, Bluetooth/wi-fi access, more precise consumption and time to charge indication… I love it.
The only thing missing is a timer to shut the whole unit off completely. Let’s say, you’re watching tv and you fall asleep. You would want the internet router, tv and Apple TV to shut down all at once. There is a bit of energy to save in 5-6 hours of useless consuming.
Otherwise it’s a good unit for my needs.
It charges pretty quick with power outlet, solar input concerns me … it’s maxed out at 400 so 2x 200 watt solar panels is it? That’s 7.5 hrs to charge. Not impressive!
The good is that I charged via outlet and used it off and on for a week kettle, toaster, hair dryer and it lasted well. It’s not to heavy so as a backup power source for temp use will be nice (my van has solar already so this is portable add on power)
It’s amazing. Does what it says it does and does it very well. Its performance is impressive. Gets charged 100% with AC in 2.5 hours and charges several gadgets at the same time. Very quiet operation. Can’t wait to take it to our camping trip. Strongly recommend.
Great follow-up and fantastic product! We’ve always had a few power outages and it works great!
I’m 66 yrs old and I find moving around my 61lb battery by hand difficult. I wish in hindsight that I got a battery with wheels and a handle. I just bought a luggage upright cart to move this around. I don’t have it yet but I ordered one with “big” wheels to move on rough surfaces. You should sell carts made for your batteries (the sizes moved around houses or used outdoors)
Thanks
Customer service is excellent helped me with a couple ordering issues prior to ordering my new 2000V2 I have not used it yet but it came quickly and in perfect condition charged up with no issues and connected to the app seemlessly
This is my 3rd Jackery!
I bought the HomePower 3000 for two reasons.
The first was a home backup in case of winter power outages. It doesn’t happen too often where I live but I’d rather play it safe. It can run the furnace fan to keep the house just warm enough so the pipes don’t freeze (and yes, it has enough power for my older furnace.)
I’ll also be using it during camping and festival season. The summer nighttime temps here in Canada can get down into the single digits, especially in early summer, so using it to power an electric blanket is all the difference between a good or bad sleep.
It also helps with powering the needs of our campsite like speakers, electric skillets, coffee makers, phones, etc.
My other 2 Jackery power stations (a small 240 & much bigger 2000 v2) have been used multiple times and along with my solar panels, I haven’t run out of power yet.
Adding this new HomePower 3000 just gives me more security for power my needs, whether it’s outdoors or here at home.
Keeping in mind that I’m writing this review after a single use, so far it’s proven itself to be exactly as advertised. I had to do a load of research and watch several YouTube videos because I knew nothing about watt hours or any of that, but after comparing brands and models this seemed to be the best fit.
I needed something to power the heater and filter in my aquarium in case of a power outage (and I wouldn’t say no to a cup of coffee in that case either) and this little backup kept my fish from freezing to death. Looking forward to testing it in during longer outages but very satisfied with my purchase far.
I paid 649 a few weeks ago. Its 50.00 less. How about a refund for this new price.
