Received my Jackery Explorer Solar Generator 2000 Plus and a spare battery unit. Planning to purchase another battery unit and use the system as an emergency backup along with a gas powered generator. Between the two systems I will have water from my well and power for my refrigerator, deep freeze and also lights, fans, etc. It gives me great peace of mind to know that we can continue to live in our house if the power from the grid should go out for a short or an extended period. Purchased the Jackery Solar Generator 2000 Plus for working on my off grid cabin and to power the cabin when I'm not working on it. Has worked great running full size table saw, radial arm saw, air compressor and more. In the evenings I plug it into the cabin to run my lights, electronics, a small refrigerator and my CPAP.
No more noisy generators and hauling in gas. I love it so much I've just sold two of my three generators and I'm purchasing a 2000 Plus battery pack.

Automatically powers my refrigerator upon loss of power from my electric company. Very useful feature. I love it.

Excellent product and service

Amazing!

Great machine. Neded it for an 8 hour outage only one week after it arrived. Powered my sump pump all day and as it's still early spring was on often. The unit only used 14 % of capacity by the time the electricity was restored.

Amazing battery backup! Great for camping off grid in the woods or even for a picnic in the park. Overall its one amazing battery!

Bought the Explorer 2000 plus with extra Battery pack.. Love the aesthetics and features but there is certainly room for improvement with the Jackery app. Also, would love to see the battery pack connectors between the main unit and the battery pack be more streamlined---Please make 90 degree connectors so that the unit sits flush against the wall---lots of reviewers have mentioned this and would like to see Jackery provide this as an accessory soon PLEASE!

Every feature listed in the specs is very useful. It is a well engineered, attractive, alternative emergency power supply.

Jackery Battery Pack 2000 Plus

I recently upgraded and think Jackery is a great product. But I was disappointed with a few things. The instructions are not clear and there does not seem to be in specific instructional videos specific to operations and settings. The fact that it was not clear that I can not use my old Jackery solar panels with some sort of adapter and that you need to also purchase a connector to run pannels in series is also disappointing. You should be able to conect from panel to panel as well, making it easier to lay out multiple panels. Having the cord for the added battery packs stick straight out the back also takes up too much room when dealing with small space like my moile office and tiny home. But that aside, the unit is made fairly well and works as it should. I expect to see improvments in the future as user feedback comes in.

Have yet to use it. Extremely well packaged. Easy to unpack and set up. Very impressed!
Will review again, once it has been needed.

Have not had a chance to use this as it was purchased for power outages but overall purchase was smooth and arrived as expected. I wish it would be clearer if you chose a type which items would be compatible only vs just having all options. I found it very hard to decide which item would best suit my situation even after lots of research as a first time buyer. I would like to think I could purchase a 1000 or smaller for easier accessibility (ie camping) and then be able to add that unit to my expandable 2000 plus but that is not the case.

I pondered on getting a Jackery for many years!!

We have had the opportunity to only use the unit we purchased once so far.
Worked really well.
I used a five inch grinder at the same time my wife used a shop vac.
Granted was only for approx five minutes or so but, did the job.
Would (and have) highly recommend this item to others

Jackery Solar Generator 2000 Plus

We had a sustained outage and we used the Solar Generator 2000 Plus Kit with an extra 2000 watt battery for a total of 6kwh. We ran our fridge and deep freeze with it for the night. It was only down to 77%. I am truly impressed. We also have the 500 and 1000 explorer models which took care of our wifi.

It seems like a very well made piece of equipment. The first one I got did not work properly, and it wasn't charging rat, and I had to return it. They stood behind everything, but there's return. Policy is very time consuming. After submitting everything anytime I would respond my response would put the whole process at the bottom of the queue to start over again. With that situation, the whole process took three or four weeks. Part of that time frame was because the batteries have to go on ground. In not air, so that slows it down quite a bit in transport. Very satisfied now, even have 2 extra battery packs to tie onto it. Everything is good.Just don't expect a rapid response to a return & replacement.

The generator with battery pack work flawlessly. I had problems getting any production out of the solar panels until I discovered the provided 90° adapter on the solar panel cables is actually a reduce so using that was preventing solar power from getting to the generator. That isn't readily apparent in the setup instructions. After solving that problem, haven't been able to get more than 150 watts from either of the "200 watt" solar panels (and yes they are aligned to the correct angle and azimuth on a totally clear day).

After a couple of user induced problems, the awesome Jackery customer support team had me up and running with the unit charging perfectly off of the solar panels. This is a very well built unit and I expect many years of use out of it. Thank you Jackery for some great support and product….
